Dream work is Shadow work.
Dream's reveal the ultimate truths for us to discover,
dream work is deep shadow work.
~
Shadows are part of our unconscious mind, a part of us that we hide, repress and push under the rug, the skeletons that we rather keep in the closet.
Yet it's an important part of us as a whole.
Shadow work in the dreaming State is an easy access point just because in the dream State we are not identified with the ego and that's why we have an easy access to our psyche and our Shadow might be more easy to reveal. Like Carl Jung says bringing the unconscious to the conscious.
We can discover in shadow dreams, ( waking life too)
things we get triggered at,
Our trauma patterns, things we suppress like anger,
personality traits we dislike about ourselves,
jealousy etc.
my own example:
In my own healing journey, when i was in my twenties,
i needed to cut ties with a group of toxic " friends" ,
...My boundaries were crossed all the time and I was consistently self betraying. It took me years of shadow work to heal this people pleasing pattern that was so rooted in me. My younger self just wanted to feel connected with others; we all do as a tribal beaings.
My romantic partnership has been one of the safest ways to look into this pattern and heal and some Shadow work I have done by myself.
My integration part of this pattern,
was through a dream where I was asked to do a favor
that i know would harm me, i questioned this " old friend" and i said just no. I felt confident and relaxed in that dream. ~
After that this person was explaining why he asked me and defending himself. I could see him just as a lost soul, with compassion. ~
Its also easy to take the part of the victim in this kind of dynamic, but to remember it always takes too, the victim & the perpetrator. We all probably have played in both part's in our life.
In the morning after this dream i felt calm and rooted in my truth.
I had closed this dynamic trough this dream.
This is a journey that will unfold with new layer's as life goes on i'm still learning still healing. But this dream was an important closure for this pattern.

Ask yourself
what parts of you are you hiding from others?
Why do i hade this parts of me?
What emotions do i avoid to feel?
What would happen if i let myself feel this emotion fully?
In our shadows lies sometimes also our "Golden Shadow",
our true potential that we might hide.
Our wishes we don't think we are worthy of.
When we integrate the shadow we come back to balance of who we are and what our soul came here for.
We have a clearer vison for ourselves,
growth & unlocked creative potential.

∆ Explore your shadow in the Dream.
∆ Bridging the unconscious to the conscious.
∆ Integration of Shadow,
to bring this information to day to day Life.
1. Keep a Dream journal to record your Dreams,
most of the time if we have a recurring dream it will be revealed in time.. with writing your Dreams you slowly start to understand your own dream's.
2. Do lucid dreaming practices during the day like reality checking.
( check story highlights.)
3. Set the intention before bed,
example. I am setting the intention to explore my anxious attachment style in the dream.
